Confirmed nut Mel Gibson appeared on the equally nutty Joe Rogan Show in January and claimed ivermectin and fenbendazole cured three of his 'friends'. The dirt cheap drugs for cows and horses is not recommended for cancer. After posts spread across social media touting the medications, asshole William Makis claimed, without evidence, HE had cured the 'friends' of Gibson. AFP has previously debunked claims about the efficacy of ivermectin and fenbendazole in treating cancer. The posts propagating the claims from Gibson are similarly false. Following the virality of the actor's appearance, the Canadian Cancer Society posted on X saying the treatments promoted by Gibson were "not scientifically proven" and run the risk of the cancer "spreading or getting worse". | ![]() |
